When you have your seniors portraits done at Anderson Photographs you can choose to have your images entered into the national Seniors Ignite Model Competition! National Seniors Ignite Model winners across the US and Canada will receive a trip to model at the 2014 Seniors Ignite Event in LAS VEGAS, where they will showcase upcoming fashion trends and model for some of the most talented senior portrait photographers in the world at some of the most beautiful locations you can imagine.

Anderson Photographs is the ONLY MARYLAND PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO selected to offer this program! Choose the exclusivity. Choose quality. Choose FUN.

You don’t have to desire a modeling career to do this, all you need is the desire to feel and look beautiful (and FAMOUS!).

This year the Smile Design Centre will be hosting another photography show, but we’ve made some exciting changes!

We are asking photographers to get “inspired” by a few powerful words that speak to a cause close to our hearts, Breast Cancer Awareness.  The major changes that you’ll notice are an increase in categories to choose from, and that we’ve opened the door to every photographer to participate, amateur and professional alike! Don’t panic, there will be no judging event this year; the only winners are those whose lives you’ve helped touch with the funds we raise.With your help, and working with Breast Cancer Awareness of Cumberland Valley, we will be displaying your artwork, and then auctioning off the framed photographs to raise money for BCA–CV. Want to enter? We’d love to see your “inspired” artwork!

What are the guidelines?

First, select from the following categories that speak to you: Hope, Power, Survivor, Pink, Courage, & Fight, then use your talent to select an existing photo in your portfolio or take a new photothat is a representation of that word (you may enter in either 1 or 2 categories). Frame your photo in an 11 x 14 black frame, keeping in mind when selecting your frame, that your entry will be donated. Since this is a photography show, we would love to have you sign your artwork and if you like, title each piece so each artist can be recognized individually.

How do I enter?

Since May is National Photography month, we’re giving you the entire month to get inspired; snap your photo, frame it, and bring it in to the office during the week of June 3^rd. Your artwork will be displayed during our month long Photography Show, which goes out with a bang on Thursday, July 4^th with the Facebook artwork auction ending at midnight.

How can I buy one of the displayed photos?

We will be auctioning off the photos in our office and our Facebook page as the show is running.  You can stop in and place a bid or visit our Facebook & follow the instructions (this is a great way to track your competitions bids!). The goal is to sell each photo and raise as much as we can for Breast Cancer Awareness– Cumberland Valley.  Finally, for each piece that raises over $100, the artist will receive a FREE “My Dentist Rocks” Smile Design Centre T-shirt, as a “thank you” for helping BCA–CV.

SEPPA is the largest regional affiliate of the Professional Photographers of America. SEPPA encompasses states from Delaware to Florida and Mississippi to Puerto Rico.
